• As one of the earliest coins, The Origin of Time pendant is designed as a museum replica of an ancient Lydian coin. The earliest coins had no writing on them, just engravings of symbolic animals. Formed by hand in our Vancouver studio, the lion and the bull on the observe have been theorized to symbolize strength and fertility by many historians. The incuse square on the reverse was used in the minting process of such ancient coinage. Sumptuously glossy and weighty, this bold paperclip lariat piece is designed to embolden the wearer and offer them an air of courage in their everyday travels.

• Handmade in Vancouver from 24K gold vermeil (which is 3 microns thick of 24K gold plated over sterling silver).
